I am sure there are already sites out there that do this, but I wanted to focus on the layering concept of creating music with a multitrack editor. Anyone who’s ever recorded with a single microphone knows the process of layering subsequent tracks well. You start with a click track or something similar and build up from that, one layer at a time.

I really think that this process opens up a ton of new possibilities in music creation by allowing people from all musical backgrounds to share and mix increasingly unique songs. We even provide the free drum samples if you can provide the beats.
